Message from the President
Research reveals that regardless of income level, nearly 90 percent of students in our country aspire to go to college. Despite these aspirations, low-income and first-generation students are significantly underrepresented on college campuses. Many of these students do not understand the steps they need to take to get in to, and ultimately succeed in, college.
Lumina Foundation for Education has joined with the American Council on Education to launch a second series of PSAs for our successful KnowHow2GO campaign in an effort to encourage students to take on the tough classes as an important step to prepare for college.
