Purpose: To support three summers of the National Hispanic Institute for Latino Students' Young Leaders Conference at DePauw University.

Amount: $84,100

Summary: The Young Leaders Conference is designed to assist Hispanic students who have just completed their freshman year of high school. The program helps students develop their public speaking skills and promotes leadership, educational achievement and team building skills. Through targeted activities and student support, the program aims to increase Hispanic students’ preparedness for access and success in postsecondary education.
