ADDITIONAL RESOURCESPublic Agenda’s higher education guide is intended to brief journalists who seek a broad, yet comprehensive overview of higher education issues. This online guide also provides easy access to organizations and individuals who are experts on issues related to postsecondary education. Education Writers Association (EWA) is the national professional organization of education reporters. EWA was organized in 1947 by a group of newspaper reporters with the intent of improving education reporting to the public. The Hechinger Institute on Education and the Media exists to equip journalists with the knowledge and skills they need to produce fair, accurate and insightful reporting.
