Dewayne Matthews

Dewayne Matthews served as Lumina's vice president of strategy development until 2016. Matthews has served in a variety of higher education leadership roles, including senior adviser to the president and vice president of the Education Commission of the States (ECS), director of programs and services for the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education (WICHE), and executive director of the New Mexico Commission on Higher Education.

Sanford J. Ungar

Sanford J. Ungar stepped down as the tenth president of Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland, on June 30, 2014, after thirteen years in that position. Under his leadership, Goucher, which was founded in 1885, enjoyed considerable growth in enrollment and faculty, expanded campus facilities through a record fund-raising campaign, and became the first traditional liberal arts college in the United States to require every undergraduate to study abroad.
