NCAN and Lumina to Host Workshop on Innovation at the 2012 Conference

In an effort to facilitate the creation of the next generation of student supports for college access and success, Lumina Foundation has partnered with the National College Access Network (NCAN) to sponsor an Innovation Primer Workshop as part of the 2012 NCAN national conference in Las Vegas, NV.

In this 4-hour, participatory experience attendees will:

  • Examine real-world innovations and uncover what makes them successful.
  • Mine insights and ideas about innovation and technology use in real-time.
  • Receive a roadmap for how to include technology in your own innovation.

Space is limited and available on a first-come-first-served basis. If you’re interested in an opportunity to build or strengthen your organization’s capacity for innovation, we invite you to attend this collaborative experience.

The Innovation Primer Workshop will take place on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 from 7:30 am – noon at Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas (across the street from the conference hotel). If interested in attending, please RSVP by e-mail. If you have any questions about the Innovation Primer Workshop, send your question to this address. Please note that this session takes place concurrently with the NCAN conference.

A Stronger Nation 2017 report uses Census data to track progress in degree attainment at several levels – nationally, in metropolitan areas, in all 50 states, and down to the county level. It also contains national data and state-specific estimates that show attainment of high-quality postsecondary certificates.
