Students, policymakers and institutions all need to have high-quality data about how today’s student accesses and pays for higher education – and what contributes to their success. But the data that are available now are woefully inadequate. The purpose of this report is to identify the most viable options for improving our national education data infrastructure and to determine what actions are necessary to bring about the best possible solution.
