Lumina Foundation is a tax-exempt private foundation formed for public, charitable purposes and subject to stringent regulation by the Internal Revenue Service. We have an obligation to operate in a transparent manner and explain clearly how we further our charitable and educational mission. Each year, private foundations file a federal tax document, Form 990-PF, which contains significant detail and narrative information about our finances, grantmaking, operations, and compliance with applicable tax law and regulation. We also disclose our annual audited financial statements as they become available.
