Nationwide, 14 percent of students who begin their higher education journey at a community college go on to transfer to a four-year college and leave with a bachelor's degree within six years, says a new report from the Community College Research Center. The report calls on two- and four-year colleges to work together to align curricula, as well as to better track academic credits.
