Erin Archer
Vice President of Finance and Investments and Chief Financial Officer
Erin Archer is vice president of finance and investments and chief financial officer of Lumina Foundation, an independent, private foundation in Indianapolis that is committed to making opportunities for learning beyond high school available to all. In this role, she directs the investment strategies for the foundation’s endowment and oversees the foundation’s financial operations.
Archer is an eight-year veteran of higher education finance, serving as the chief financial officer and vice president of finance and operations at Sarah Lawrence College, treasurer at Syracuse University in New York, and treasurer and director of investments at DePaul University in Chicago.
Before joining DePaul, Archer worked in the financial services sector, where she held equity analyst roles at Arqaam Capital, HSBC, Goldman Sachs, Thrivent Financial, Piper Jaffray Cos. (now Piper Sandler), and Raymond James.
She received her undergraduate degree from the University of Chicago and her master’s degree in business administration from the University of Chicago’s Booth School of Business. Archer is also a CFA® charterholder.
