Lumina Foundation is a tax-exempt private foundation formed for public, charitable purposes and subject to stringent regulation by the Internal Revenue Service. We have an obligation to operate transparently and explain clearly how we further our charitable and educational mission. Each year, private foundations file a federal tax document, Form 990-PF, which contains detailed and narrative information about our finances, grantmaking, operations, and compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations. We also disclose our annual audited financial statements as they become available.
