Monica Robinson

Monica Robinson is the director of convenings at Lumina Foundation, an independent, private foundation in Indianapolis that is committed to making opportunities for learning beyond high school available to all. Based in Lumina’s office in Washington, D.C., she oversees all of the foundation’s virtual, hybrid, and in-person events.

Before joining Lumina, she was chief event strategist at Voltron Data. She also has served as an executive DEI consultant for Project Impact, as executive director of the National Coalition of Black Meeting Professionals, and as vice president of communications and learning at the AMC Institute in Alexandria, Va.

Robinson attended Southern Illinois University, where she studied theater and theater business management.
