Less barriers and more guidance from college financial aid offices can help homeless and foster youth attend and succeed in postsecondary education, says this report from the U.S. Government Accountability Office. Among the report’s recommendations: centralizing college information on the U.S. Department of Education’s Website and possible legislative action to simplify the application process.
