A new report on academically rigorous courses for high school students shows that a majority of schools offer AP, IB, or dual enrollment courses, though only 46.3 percent of high school students earn credits in any of these course offerings. Regardless of race, the report says students who earned more credits were more likely to be enrolled in a bachelor’s or associate’s degree program in the fall of 2013 after graduating high school.
