Is a high school diploma evidence that students are college and career ready? A new report from Achieve attempts to answer this question by analyzing 93 diploma options across all 50 states and the District of Columbia for the class of 2014. Among the conclusions: Diplomas in too many states represent tickets to nowhere and provide false assurances of academic readiness for success in college and careers.
