In fall 2015, 13 community colleges in Tennessee implemented corequisite remediation at scale for math, writing and reading. A policy brief from the Community College Research Center examines the cost-effectiveness of this model and determines that the success rates from corequisite remediation may indicate a more efficient instructional system for students who enter college academically underprepared.
