Student loan repayment rates can answer key questions about the manageability of student debt for borrowers attending specific institutions or programs, states this report from the Institute for Higher Education Policy. At the same time, lawmakers should define the metric carefully, set high and attainable repayment standards, and make repayment data readily available to institutions, the report says.
