Every year, roughly 60,000 students in California stop at the transfer gate, struggling to reach their ultimate goal of attaining a bachelor’s degree. This report examines the steps community colleges and four-year universities can take to strengthen the transfer pipeline, increase baccalaureate completion, and reduce equity gaps.
