What if every student left college with the skills, experiences, and confidence to thrive in today’s workforce? Career-connected High-Impact Practices (HIPs)—such as internships, undergraduate research, study abroad, service learning, and capstone projects—are powerful tools to make that vision real. These experiences not only deepen learning and boost degree completion, but when intentionally aligned with career pathways, they also help ensure all students are prepared for meaningful careers.

Lumina Foundation invites you to an informational webinar on an exciting new grant opportunity to advance and scale career-connected HIPs at bachelor’s degree–granting institutions. This initiative calls for Letters of Interest (LOIs) from institutions ready to create inclusive and innovative learning opportunities that move beyond checklists to strengthen the bridge between higher education and workforce needs.

During the session, Lumina staff will share:

Participants will also have the chance to ask questions directly to Lumina staff about the LOI process, eligibility, and expectations. With funding ranging from $80,000–$100,000 for up to 15 institutions, this opportunity goes beyond grant support—it offers the chance to shape national practice, join a peer learning community, and access technical assistance from experts in the field.
