Last month, Lumina Foundation unveiled our closing argument on Goal 2025 wherein 60 percent of Americans will hold a high-quality degree or credential. We will hear from President and CEO Jamie Merisotis and Lumina’s leadership on the inner workings of the new strategic plan and its intersections with his new book, Human Work. Acknowledging the critical role of state policymakers, we’ll dive into what it will take to achieve 7 million more credentialed learners by 2025.
Thursday, October 22, 10:00 AM – 3:00 p.m. EDT
In our intensified push toward a more just and fair society, states must fortify paths to greater learning for people who might otherwise be left behind. In this session, Governors, international, and state higher education leaders will reflect on their roles in answering the call for equity and justice, as we work together on improving opportunities for all.
Hear from Lumina’s executive team and state leaders on how states plan to reach the 2025 national attainment goal while addressing pressing issues like Covid-19 and racial equity. Plus, dive deep during policy spotlight breakouts and enjoy virtual networking opportunities.
