Annual Update 2019
For nearly two decades, the nation has focused attention on the need to address its high school dropout challenge and improve the life prospects of millions of students. America now needs a second act, as the rise in high school graduation rates slows down and the demands of the workplace require postsecondary education and training of some kind for most jobs today and in the future. This report examines both progress and challenges toward reaching the GradNation campaign goal of a national on-time graduation rate of 90 percent.
