Far too many Americans wonder whether their financial resources will be enough to provide them with healthy meals for themselves and their families. In 2019, more than 35 million people in the United States lived in households that were identified as food insecure. Feeding America estimates that the COVID-19 pandemic will exacerbate those numbers drastically.  This report describes the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on food insecurity, as experienced by students at a small set of urban universities from March through December 2020.
