Higher education institutions in California and across the country are transforming their approach to math education to ensure that it supports student success and equity.  As part of these reforms, colleges and universities are adopting new evidence-based strategies such as multiple measures placement, diversified mathematics pathways, and co-requisite courses. This report examines the effectiveness of these strategies to ensure an accurate and seamless process for students needing math support, especially for those who are traditionally underserved in higher education.
