As millions of Americans deal with the economic fallout from COVID-19, college students are also grappling with how best to navigate their professional next steps, from the job search to major adaptations to summer employment plans. A new report says that for 72 percent of students, the stress and uncertainty surrounding the coronavirus pandemic has added to the difficulty of their job search, with 74 percent stating companies are unresponsive to job applications.
