COVID-19 has dramatically changed today’s higher education landscape. A new report offers insight about the pandemic’s impact on current and prospective college students—and how COVID-19 may be shifting their perceptions of higher education over time. Among the report’s findings: Students express concerns about the health and economic impacts of the virus, face challenges in an online learning environment, and expect institutions and Capitol Hill to lower tuition costs and set higher standards for quality learning both now and when the pandemic ends.
