In New York, as nationwide, job training has rarely seemed so important: It is critical today and likely to be increasingly essential in the years ahead. This report contends that New York’s publicly funded city and state community colleges are uniquely positioned to address this challenge, providing more job-focused education for mid-career adults and traditional college-age students.
