High school completion rates increased from 83.7 percent in 1973 to 92 percent in 2013 among 18- to 24-year-olds, according to a new report from the National Center for Education Statistics. In the same time period, the report says the gap in completion rates between White youth and Black and Hispanic youth narrowed, although gaps remain.
