Lumina Foundation is seeking candidates for the following position:
- Organizational Learning & Alignment Associate
The Organizational Learning and Alignment (OLA) function is a cross-cutting unit responsible for facilitating the internal practices, processes, programming, learning, and relationships necessary to achieve Goal 2025. The Organizational Learning and Alignment (OLA) Associate will assist the Director of OLA in supporting this function.
- Human Resources Associate
The Human Resources Associate is primarily responsible for human resource functions including benefits administration, compensation, recruitment support, records and retention management and policy and procedure compliance. Effectively and efficiently communicates information pertaining to human resource programs and policies to all Foundation staff.
- Administrative Assistant
The Administrative Assistant provides general and specialized administrative support by prioritizing tasks, effectively planning time, anticipating needs, and operating with a sense of urgency. Acts as an internal and external communication liaison. Coordinates administrative support functions of the Washington DC office including facility and general services. Provide logistical support for Lumina’s convenings in the DC area. Support the Foundation’s work in the areas of federal policy and student financial support.

Lumina Summer Intern Program
- Evaluation Intern (Summer 2014)
Lumina Foundation seeks a paid, undergraduate for the summer of 2014 semester to provide research, analysis, data quality, and reporting support to Lumina’s Organizational Performance and Evaluation department.

- Equity Intern (Spring/Summer 2014)
Recognizing that educational success in the U.S. is uneven, Lumina emphasizes the need for equity and excellence in the attainment of postsecondary credentials of those historically underserved by and underrepresented in higher education—namely Native American, Latino, and African American students.
Application deadline: April 4.
- Policy Intern (Summer 2014)
Lumina Foundation seeks a paid, graduate-level intern with higher education and state/federal policy familiarity for the summer 2014 semester. The intern will assist with research, analysis, project, and writing support to Lumina’s Washington DC based staff, specifically on Lumina’s strategies to advance federal policy for increased attainment, and create new models of student financial support.
Location: Washington D.C.

- Convenings Intern (Spring/Summer 2014)
Lumina Foundation seeks a paid, hospitality or event management intern with previous experience in office administration or customer service for the spring/summer 2014 semester. The intern will provide Convenings support, including event logistics, fiscal accountability and on-site event coordination.
