California must fill the need for an estimated 1 million more credentialed workers within the next decade, according to a report from the California Task Force on Workforce, Job Creation, and a Strong Economy. Among the report’s recommendations to address this challenge: Creating a set of metrics for evaluating the success of career and technical education programs and revising the curriculum-development process to ensure closer alignment with employers.
