This report explores how workers and learners in Los Angeles’ public colleges and universities experience the competing demands of school and the workplace as they prepare for careers. Among the findings: Employers and colleges need to create comprehensive outreach strategies so resources and training programs are readily available and accessible through simple systems and protocols.
