FLSA Status: Exempt
Location: Preference for Indianapolis, Indiana—a remote work opportunity (outside of Indiana) within the contiguous US may be considered. Requires, on average, 3-5 days in the Indianapolis office per quarter with additional presence as needed.
Compensation: $78,000-$98,000, commensurate with experience.

Purpose
The video and online event producer will be an integral part of the Human Network Design team, Lumina Foundation’s audience network engagement strategy. Working with the Strategy Director for Partnerships and the Conference and Meeting Planning Officer, the ideal candidate excels in digital environments and is responsible for coordinating and configuring the layout, design and features for Lumina Foundation’s virtual engagement process. This individual will also provide expert guidance on technical requirements to create virtual events, live-day support and video editing and production expertise for pre-recorded events. The ability to work collaboratively across the organization as a member of the Human Network Design team is vital for success in this position.

Technical Responsibilities Event Planning and Logistics
Serve as primary technical contact for the Foundation’s in-person, virtual and hybrid convenings.
Produce multiple media solutions for Lumina Convenings across a range of formats and platforms such as video editing and production, speaker support and live/virtual/hybrid events.
Produce high-quality videos that include creation of video graphics (title slides, banners, lower-thirds, music and sound editing).
Manage inventory of on-demand library of videos created from Lumina events on YouTube and other multi-media platforms.
Create sizzle videos and graphics for social media promotions
Provide virtual event participants with an understanding of technical requirements to streamline and simplify their virtual event experience.
Plan and execute activities, as related to managing virtual, hybrid, and in-person meetings including pre-planning and technical set-up
Serve as lead point of contact for the day-of-event technology administration.
Events Management
Working with the Conference and Meeting Planning Officer, organize, prepare and upload the event content for all convenings.
Establish an excellent working relationship with virtual event presenters and Lumina staff associated with the event
Ability to keep up to date on virtual event technology.
Recommend technology vendors as necessary to obtain the best services for Lumina Convenings.
Maintain inventory of video equipment needed for Lumina Convenings.
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
At least three years or more of progressively responsible experience as a Video or Multi-Media Producer, with demonstrated experience in planning and managing event production and virtual event experience a plus.
Technical knowledge of video production and meetings & events production.
Technical understanding and demonstrated knowledge of meeting virtual platforms required
Qualifications
Demonstrated portfolio of previous virtual events production(s).
Proven competency in software applications for video editing and production used for virtual events, as well as office software, e.g., MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Zoom and other technologies.
Possess expert level of technical understanding and demonstrated knowledge of multiple virtual meeting and streaming platforms.
Demonstrated success with project management and meeting deadlines.
Sound judgement and strong decision-making skills.
Ability to work well under pressure.
Written and verbal communication skills
A proven ability to develop and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and colleagues.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Work is performed in an office environment, mostly sedentary.
Lifting up to 30 pounds, including video equipment.
This position travels 10-15%, including overnight stays.
