Colorado Has Had a Shortage of Cybersecurity Professionals for Years. Here’s How That’s Going.

In the past 12 months, 714,548 cybersecurity jobs were posted in the United States, according to EMSI Burning Glass. Colorado, among the top 10 states with the most openings, had 25,761 as of April.
In response, schools like Metropolitan State University of Denver are ramping up their cybersecurity programs and creating partnerships with industry experts. But it’s not just about a college degree. Cyber companies need workers with a mix of different skill sets and training. |
